Edwards Haps and Mishaps

Wow! the weeks are just flying…I probably always say that! Oh well! We are almost at 34 weeks and this kid is growing! My belly grew from 31 cm (from top to bottom) 2 weeks ago to 35 cm at our appointment on Tuesday! Thats a pretty big jump! Hopefully he doesn’t get TOO big in there…I’ll push out a 10 pounder but I don’t know how much fun that’ll be! Everything looked good at our last appointment, he is still head down, not sure if he is still posterior or not. My body hasn’t started swelling up yet, but I am sure it will as it is getting into the mid-upper 90’s! It would be nice to not have the swelling but I am wondering if I will actually be able to escape that fun part of pregnancy especially as I get closer and BIGGER.

We were able to clear out the baby’s room last weekend and put a lot of our junk into a storage unit so that was really NICE! I feel so much cleaner with that room cleaned out because it was starting to fill up!  Now you can see all of the massive Nemo characters on the walls :) Hopefully he isn’t scared of fish later in life because of the huge sea creatures staring down at him! I’m sure he’ll be fine!

Anyway, it is my time to leave work and go home! HOORAY! So i love you all and hope life is treating you well! We are doing great! Have a wonderful Thursday! and HAPPY FIRST DAY OF SUMMER!

Hi! Here is a picture of me at 32 weeks…the belly is getting bigger and bigger! Crazy! Anyway, I just thought I would post a picture of my tummy since I hadn’t in awhile and I think it has grown a lot since my family saw it. Maybe it hasn’t but I feel like it has! He is still very active and it is getting harder and harder to bend over or even to pick up something from the floor of the car and get out of the car are getting hard!! It will only get worse, I’m sure! I haven’t started swelling yet, sometimes when my feet or hands are hot they kind of feel swollen but so far it hasn’t been bad. The temperature is supposed to get up into the 90’s this week, so I am not really excited about that but oh well! Anyway, I hope you are all having a great week! We love you!

HI! It has been awhile since I updated everyone on what we are up to. I am almost to 32 weeks so just a few more weeks until he is allowed to come! It would be nice if he came during the end of July…just not the 25th when Tyler is going into the MTC! That might be a little stressful. I guess it will just be nice if he comes on time…not 2 weeks late! But we’ll see what happens, it is usually pretty unpredictable! I just finished washing and folding all of his little clothes that we have here, they are so cute because they are so tiny! My tummy is always jolting around, it looks like there is an alien trying to get out of there sometimes, its kind of funny. I’m glad he is moving, even when it gets uncomfortable!

Shaun is working on finishing up the spring term. He has one final this weekend and one in a couple weeks so let’s pray that he does well! We are still trying to figure out where life is taking us, but we will just take it one step at a time.

It has been rainy and cold out here yesterday and today and the snow is back on the mountain tops. This Utah weather is always so crazy! Summer is only a few weeks away yet it is still snowing. so weird! But it has been nice that it isn’t hot because being pregnant and being hot is really uncomfortable i have found…and I have 2 more months of that! So it has actually been nice that it is colder lately.

We went on a tour of our hospital, Orem Community. Everyone there was so nice and the rooms are just great…the newer ones are definitely a lot more spacious than the older ones, but all are pretty nice! It was also a lot more laid back and welcoming than Utah Valley, so I feel good that we switched to midwives and that we are delivering there. I think it is neat that Shaun was born in that hospital and now his son will be born there too!
