Reminds me of a time when we were living in your house (I hope that sounds weird to people other than you), and we went up to Idaho for a weekend when Jenelle was pretty young. The only way to work it was to put her in a pack-n-play at the foot of our bed. She awoke the next morning, stood up at the edge of the crib, and just watched us for a while. We were careful not to move, and she just sat back down and chilled for a few minutes. Then she stood back up to look at us, and then went back down. She did that 5 or 6 times, and never woke us up. It was brilliant and completely out of character.

I love being a mom too! I also love sharing your “mom” moments with you–even long distance! He is so adorable! These wonderful little “gift” moments are what will bind you to him forever, make you walk through any fire for him, and all those rough moments easier to handle!
