Terrible Seventeen Months?
It has already started. I think Preston’s hit the terrible two’s early. Faces like this one are seen often around the house…at the store…the park…with his cousin…EVERYWHERE. So fun. I am glad he’s cute, otherwise I don’t know how I’d keep him :)

I recently read an article that said that kids are actually worse behaved around their half birthdays and better around their actual birthdays. Something about developmental stages. But I certainly understand how possessed they suddenly seem.

Terrible Two’s always seem to come about the time they hit a year and a half. They just crack me up! And you’re right….he’s even adorable when he’s being ‘terrible’!

Preston! You are such a goose ball! I JUST WANT TO KISS YOU!!! Can’t wait for Burg to experience this when we’re all together at Christmas.

What a face! I’m so sorry! Terrible twos are such a sad part of life! I keep telling my girls that we could all have so much more fun if they’d just be my sweet, good, happy girls all the time. It is too bad you and Preston couldn’t come. They could’ve all played in the snow! And no worries, “mine” is something we hear all the time. He’d fit right in!

My little niece is 14 months and she’s starting to get to this stage as well… she’s throwing fits, refusing to eat food (even food she normally likes!), wanting to be held yet not wanting to be held. I think a big part of the reason is that they’re realizing their personalities. They’re testing boundaries of what they can and can’t do. Consequently, there are a lot of “no!”s thrown around the house, which is hard for kids to hear so often. Oh, the joys of being a parent! :)
