First Prelay!
We are currently up here in Portland…a serious dreamland in the summer. WOW. Shaun and some of his best friends had been working hard to get ready for their first long distance relay that they put on last Friday and Saturday. The “Prelay” in memory of the great runner Steve Prefontaine. There were nine teams this first year, but that was great so the guys could figure out all the logistics and get great feedback. I think they did an AWESOME job! The runners started in Portland on Friday and ended in Eugene on Saturday. Everyone survived. Great news. A team from a popular Oregon Running blog ran it and gave it a great review! Click Here to read it.
There are zillions of pictures to be shown…but you’ll just have to wait until I can get home to my computer! This race will be a definite success in years to come! yay!! I read what the Oregon Running blog had to say about the race too and it sounded awesome! Congrats! And I would totally be on a team with you next year. I better get in on it before it gets too big ; )

you don’t know me, but a google search brought up your sacramento temple pictures and that brought me to your blog. Some of you pics would make nice paintings. May I have permission to paint from them? dljohnson5151@msn.com.
coincidentally I just finished the ragnar in utah. There were 12 team members and 180 miles. It was great. I will be running the one in Las Vegas in October.

Awesome!! I still need to get in gear and blog about this fantastic event!! It was so great to see you guys and see Will and Preston play! Hopefully we’ll get together again soon! It was fun for us all to get together like.Thanks again for taking time to take our pictures! I saw the one you posted and your blog and I really really liked it. You’re so good! Sorry Will wasn’t easier for us! These little guys! What would we do without them though!
