Before and After
I love looking at makeovers…especially when you see the before and after pictures right next to each other. I don’t know why. Maybe you do too…so I bought a few things recently for our new place, since we came into it with two end tables, a bed, and two bar stools…I have such a hard time buying new things when I know I can get a can a spray paint and make something look new again…well, new-ish. Here are two jewels i found. The stool $4.99 at Good Will and the chair $6.00 at a garage sale. I am pretty happy with the outcome!
Then, I had a request to see before and afters of photos…sometimes when I see things right out of the camera I think, “Hey, that looks good. maybe I shouldn’t even edit that.” But then after editing I see what a dramatic difference it can make!! Photo editing is a lot of fun…extremely frustrating when just starting out, and even STILL is…but I am glad to be continually learning.
A little head swapping below… (meaning, since we both look weird in the first, I took heads from another photo and swapped them…)

Your new chair/stool are so cute! And i love that you put the edited/unedited pics next to each other, what a difference some editing makes!

Thanks for the before and afters! You make the colors and contrasts so much more brilliant and they look great. I’m very impressed, I know it takes a lot of patience to learn how to do all that editing. I’d hire you.

Love your fun ‘finds’ and their makeovers. I have a few projects waiting to get done here, too. You inspire me!

Janelle – as always you are amazing. I’m wondering what kind of editing software you are using?

I love spray paint! Do you use photoshop? I don’t have it but I’ve heard it’s pretty complicated.

The last before and after aren’t the same picture. Shaun isn’t looking at the camera in one and your tongue is hanging out in one.

You did amazing things with those two pieces of furniture! They’re truly transformed.
I have Photoshop on my school computer, but I can’t seem to find time to get fiddle around with it! I love what you do with your pictures!

Hey! I need your new address so that I can send you a baby shower invite. For some reason I don’t have the right email for you, otherwise I would’ve just emailed you.

Cousin Keith,
Sorry for not responding to you. I hope your feelings haven’t been damaged beyond repair. In response to your response: it is the same picture. Janelle removed heads from a different photo and put them on the picture because my eyes are closed and her tongue is out. Basically, she was trying to show you how much she can do to make a picture look good. Thanks for checking our blog faithfully and congrats on being an uncle again.

Cousin Keith,
My apologies for leaving a question unanswered. Janelle posted those pics in the wrong sequence. I had the Mohawk after we took our family pictures. And I am not giving up on any of my dreams. See you soon at your sister’s wedding.
