4th of July
This year we had a pretty laid back 4th of July. My sister and I woke up to do our first “race” since having our babies, we ran a the Folsom Firecracker 10K along the American River…such a great way to start the day, though I wouldn’t say we really “raced” but we at least finished! Then we got everything together to have some family and friends over for a barbecue…love the smell of a BBQ in the summer! Then of course, what is the 4th of July without fireworks? We bought one of the smallest firework packages so luckily our neighbors came through with some bigger ones we could watch too…though Preston totally thought ours were WAY cooler than theirs…for some reason…the longest one of ours lasted maybe 20 seconds, and maybe not even that long!! All in all it was a nice way to celebrate our great country and remember all the good things about it!

No race pictures?! You are such an inspiration, Janelle! I can’t believe all that you do and have done while Shaun was in law school (and I’m sure is now preparing to take the bar), not to mention having 3 kids on top of it all! You are awesome. I hope someday I’ll be a little more like you! :)
